The Garden of the Holy Innocents
A dream of the Board Members of “Back in His Arms Again” was the ability to offer a burial place for all unborn infants. The land was donated by Resurrection Cemetery in Lewis Center, Ohio in the Catholic Diocese of Columbus.
Many Columbus hospitals are offering the option of using The Garden of the Holy Innocents to families who have experienced a miscarriage or delivery of a child who died during pregnancy. Careful records of each baby are kept, and each baby has its own worthy and distinct burial container.
Individual burial plots are still available for families who wish to bury their infant with or without the services of a funeral home. The Garden of the Holy Innocents is available for any baby under 20 weeks gestation, or, any baby who has been cremated. In addition, families may request a memorial paver with their baby’s name engraved on it for.
The Garden of the Holy Innocents is available to families during regular cemetery hours to visit and honor their babies.
