Photographs of stillborns and newborns who don't make it home from the hospital are usually very difficult to look at, and are usually the only image that the parents have of their child. Through this free service, our skilled digital artists work with a digital copy of your original, eliminating medical equipment, removing marks and bruising, even replacing the background if desired.
NILMDTS offers the gift of healing, hope and honor to parents experiencing the death of a baby through the overwhelming power of remembrance portraits. Professional-level photographers volunteer their time to conduct an intimate portrait session, capturing the only moments parents spend with their babies. Parents are gifted with delicately retouched heirloom black and white portraits free of charge.
Central Ohio has one of the highest infant mortality rates in the United States, which affects low-income families and minorities in an alarming rate. Alive in My Heart supports families impacted by pregnancy and infant loss by connecting them to each other and to community resources in Central Ohio. We envision a community in which no family has to endure pregnancy or infant loss in isolation.

Newborns In Need is made up of volunteers who are dedicated to providing babies with needed essentials. Special volunteers feel the responsibility of providing items for the little ones who do not survive. Many have faced infant loss and use the gift of a wedding gown to honor their own child; others wish to use their talents to offer comfort to a grieving family.
Tiny soft buntings for little ones under 22 weeks up to full-term bereavement outfits, Newborns In Need bereavement items are provided to families to dress their child and take a memory photo free of charge. These outfits are placed inside handcrafted, soft memory envelopes along with a small hankie, blanket or cap for the family to take home. Because of brides who donate their wedding dresses our volunteers are able to provide for hospitals across the US.
