The Holiday Season is now upon us! As we embrace the hectic schedules, let us not forget the reason we celebrate the season. We are called to give, especially at Christmas, and our ministry is asking for the gift of a donation from your family this year.
In our last newsletter on Thanksgiving, we outlined the new events we have hosted this year as well as the fact that we continue to see over 100 family calls per month.
I feel like I say this often...100 families per month. And I'm guilty of this as well, do we ever really stop and think what that means?? 100 families a month means 100 babies have died each month. 100 parents are grieving their baby with empty arms. 100 families needed guidance, support, advice, prayers, sometimes financial assistance for burial.
Christmas is about the birth of a baby. Christmas also means the beginning of the busiest time of year for Back In His Arms Again as the last several years, we see our highest call volumes in the winter months.
Families in our community are hurting, and in order for us to continue supporting them, we must ask our generous donors to continue their support of our mission to be able to assist every single family that comes to us.
It is because of donors and supporters like you, that even through the two years of Covid, we have never turned away a family in need. We'd like to be able to keep that up!
Please prayerfully consider us this giving season.
With sincere thanks,
Amy Tatz, President
Kambra Malone, Executive Director
