All are welcome to join us for the Wave of Light service on Wednesday, October 15 at Resurrection Cemetery in Lewis Center.
The Wave of Light is an international event held anually on Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Day.
We will be hosting an uplifting memorial event in honor of this day. The event kicks off at 6:00pm with activities, music, and mingling. At 6:30 we will have a brief program, and then will conclude the evening with a candle lighting ceremony at 7pm.
This event is free to attend and a votive candle will be provided, we simply ask that you register so that we can be prepared!
Additionally, we are offering custom candles again this year. You can have your baby's name added to the candles. Please note that custom candle orders MUST be placed by October 8.
We were surprised by the absence of any written resources provided to us at the time of the unexpected loss of our son. We are speaking from our experience, as we learned how to deal with his loss. We felt the call to provide these resources to other parents. It is our sincere hope that this resource will provide you help and encouragement at this time of emotional distress and grief.
Caring, compassionate Catholic priests or deacons (and/or your own pastor) educated in death, loss and bereavement are available to you at this time of crisis. These ministries can be called upon to provide guidance, support, and assistance at the physician’s office, hospital or even when you return home.
Back In His Arms Again was recently featured in an article in The Catholic Times! Check it out here!

Believing that every life is precious and deserving of respect, Back In His Arms Again honors life from
conception until death.
We are a charitable organization of collaborative resources providing education, care, guidance and financial services for families in need who are experiencing the loss of a child as well as those providing care.
O God, Our creator, all life is in your hands from conception until death. Help us to cherish our children and to reverence the awesome privilege of our share in creation. May all people live and die in dignity and love. Bless all those who defend the rights of the unborn, handicapped and the aged. Enlighten and be merciful toward those who fail to love, and give them peace. Let freedom be tempered by responsibility, integrity and morality. Amen.
